In short: We only use cookies that are needed to sign you in and keep your account secure. No
advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, so there's nothing to opt out of and no cookie banner.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which the GeoMatch Proxy extension uses to remember your sign-in and current connection.
2. Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
geomatch_proxy_session | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages and remembers short-lived form state. | 120 minutes of inactivity, or until you close the browser |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | Same as the session |
remember_web_* | Keeps you signed in between visits, only if you tick "Keep me signed in". | About 400 days, or until you sign out |
These cookies are strictly necessary for the service you ask for, so they don't need your consent under UK and EU rules (PECR and the ePrivacy Directive).
3. Third parties
- Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page to process payments and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy.
- Cryptomus sets its own cookies on its payment page if you pay with crypto. See Cryptomus's privacy policy.
- Google sets cookies on its own pages if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them but doesn't set cookies.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block our essential cookies you won't be able to sign in. Removing the extension, or signing out in it, clears what it stores.
5. Changes
If we ever add non-essential cookies, such as analytics, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first.
